Steve highlights the HGTV show “My Lottery Dream Home,” by introducing viewers to lottery winner PETE BLAKENEY. Pete and his wife were featured on the show after winning ,000,000 in the Mississippi state lottery. With the winnings, they first donated to their church and then purchased a gorgeous beach house on the coast of Alabama. Pete’s personal splurge was a ’71 GTO.

I”m sorry God is not into gambling, now it’s good that he won and giving back. He just won how everyone else wins. This wasn’t a blessing from God.

Why does god only deserve 10% if he’s the reason you won at all?
Doesn’t the devil have the power to bless you in order to manipulate you?
Well maybe the devil blessed him with winning the lottery instead…So where’s the devils 10% then?
My point is don’t be so quick to assume God is behind everything.

And what happens when these churches put their money in Banks and businesses get loans from these Banks and build in the cities, often times the property taxes go up and the poor are forced out. You can look at this from many perspectives and deem it good or bad. Either way it goes a lot of transformations are made in people from going to church, this church could save a lot of souls. It is undoubtedly a blessing.
