Move. Change your name. If you want to help your family buy your parents a
four plex and tell them to live there and pay the cheap rent to your
parents. That is a lot of help to everyone. You owe nobody anything. And
then leave for a year or two. Then if you come back tell them you spent it
all at the casino.

sad she filed for bankruptcy. I don’t know why anybody would invest in the
stock exchange, she did and lost. Buy land or real estate, that will always
be there..,land is land even after thousand years. In order to keep your
money you must invest in a company or something that consumers will buy and
put money into, if you want to see your money increase or at least not go
down the drain. Warren buffet invests in companies that produce product and
companies that are thriving and make something the consumer buys..,you
putting money into stock exchange is like giving it to the sink hole, you
never see it again..

This is unreal to see someone win and then it goes up in smoke. If you have never lived in Beverly Hills, why go live there now? She could have purchased a really nice home and a nice SUV or Cadillac for luxury. I definitely would not have purchased those ugly hand bags which are less than the price when you have to sell them. That money could have afforded her comfortably for the rest of her life. And I definitely would not have married a man who likes men. She didn’t even look to see it staring her right in the face. His backbone was as strong as a straw yet he had a plan to get everything he wanted out of a lonely and desperate lady. I hope she has enough to leave California and go somewhere her money will make her comfortable and be able to support herself and her children.

First of all, out of $113 M, after taxes and on hand, she got maybe 40 million. Then she divided this 40 M by 3, for her, her brother and her father. I think she got around 15 M. If you think, 15 M is going fast… you are not looking at 113 M cash in your hand.
If you are not careful to make a business to make money for you… then 13-15M goes fast.
I love her anyway… I feel bad for her too.

      Maybe you’re thinking of the pre-tax lump sum amount – as that was $66 million. But after tax it was $49.5 million paid out. So if they split equally 3 ways that’s $16.5 million each – still not bad 😉

The program ‘Lottery Changed My Life” is back on discovery family health channel. It had her on there and from what they said she and her dad/brother ended up with $22.5 million after taxes. Her worst mistake was buying a house at the height of the housing boom/bust. From the timeline of her winning, she won Mothers Day 2007, by July she bought the home, then went on a serious buying spree.
Also NEVER buy a new car, she would have saved $$$$ buying a 1-2 year old certified used RR with low miles. Then taking on that gigolo as her trainer THEN business manager? What a damn fool,
Since she shared her winnings with her dad and brother, perhaps they are now helping her along with the kids. But one thing is for sure, she will NEVER have a win like that again in life. And that Lanre Idewu? On Facebook having fun, traveling and talking about diet and exercise, looking for another lonely female to swindle!

  I won the lottery. I’ve been in touch with her and I’ve helped her where I can. She changed my life. She has a loving spirit and that’s the only thing that matters. Helped her set up real estate units where she gets rent income that will last her the rest of her life. Thanks.

I believe with Gods help she will come back to the top maybe not with the lottery but with the gifts that God has given her and the children she adopted. God always has a plan. With everything she has been through her faith will bring her back. Just like she once she can believe again only this time Cynthia put your trust in God and his blessings.

  This was a good comment. I hope she gets back on track. My heart dropped for her when I heard about it. I won’t speak ill about her husband but I wish Cynthia would have been more careful who she brought in to her life because she went public with her winnings and he saw that and went in for the kill. Cynthia is not an ugly woman and I hope later on in her life she gets a man who loves her and the kids and not for money. He was her trainer and wasn’t doing anything but wanting expensive cars, a user in my opinion.

Cynthia was like any other woman looking for love in the wrong places. We all have the desire to want things we know we can’t pay for after we are paid our 2 week paycheck, and go places we probably wouldn’t be accepted if we didn’t have millions of dollars. She had a good heart with good intentions but she made bad choices and not 1 friend bending her ear of how to keep it in her possession.
