I’m going the anonymous route, since I don’t want randoms or long lost family blowing up my phone or mailbox asking for money!! In fact the best thing to do is to not tell anyone I’ve won!! I’d Live in a nice apartment complex, Audi A6, go to college and learn how to use stocks and bonds to increase my money down the road!!

Did everyone catch the first guy? Did she say he won $280 million but the lump sum was only $27 million? I mean I know taxes take a huge chunk, but that just sounds completely wrong, so I looked him up, He won a SPLIT jackpot, so his initial win was half to start with, but still the taxes were murder! He also died broke in 2013.

This is how I spend the money if I won the lottery. First I wouldn’t tell my family or friends I won the lottery and I would break my connections with them. Then I would find a finical advisor and not tell him I won the lottery and I won’t tell him how much money I have. Them I will take his advice and then do some research to see whether or not that investment is a good invest. If it’s not a good investment. I will some rich guy and tell him that I am retiring and some advice. Then he knows not to bullshit with me. Then if his advice isn’t good I will keep on trying to find the best investment.

If I won’t 10mil I would buy a $300k house and new 30k car no need to go overboard, it takes time to really think about how to use your money wisely but definitely would like to travel the world on a budget, live in hostels, fly cheap airlines pretty much keep the same lifestyle I have now just more secure and have a house in San Diego.

As tragic as these people and their stories are….they FAILED TO PLAN! Instead of going on buying sprees, vacations, gambling or just giving it away to family and friends, they should had or searched out for investment council to help them manage their wealth so they could live comfortably for the rest of their lives! Sad.

In some states you can’t get the money anonymously. Personally if I won 10 million I would share 2 million between my family and friends. Set up a trust fund for my daughters for 2 million .
Invest 3 million 2 million in savings .
New home in westchester county and up grade our cars with money that’s left.

I would keep my job, and say to people I lost the money within a year; the truth is that I would pay off my home, student loans, and save the rest and watch the money grow.
